Facebook schmacebook. Everyone knows that these days it is all about Instagram. Not just for posting selfies and pictures of your perfectly placed brunch but also for selling brands. According to a recent report released by research firm L2, Instagram has the most engagement and the highest conversion from browser to shopper. The report also shows that 92% of luxury brands who post an average of 5.5 times a week on Instagram increase their customer base. People want to not only see what their favorite brands are up to but also the people working behind them. They also want to interact but not in a way that feels forced. Clearly some brands are better at doing this than others. Here are some brands that we think are totally rocking it on Instagram.Â
SoulCycle
Like everything this brand does, it just kills it.
General Electric
You wouldn’t think this would be that interesting for Instagram but boy would you be wrong. The feed shows all the different industries GE is a part of. It also hosts great photo contests to find its next “Instagrapher”.
LaurenConrad.com
Maybe it’s just that her life is beautiful but her Instagram is delectable.
Bonobos
They aren’t just pants, it’s a way of life.
Warby Parker
Can this brand do anything wrong?
Redbull
Redbull is super smart in that they know their customer base is high energy or at least people who aspire to have high energy. Their feed is full of awesome athletes and events.
Starbucks
The coffee giant hopped on the Instagram bandwagon early which shows how smart they are.
GAP
Clean, cool and just plain snazzy.
Victoria’s Secret
One of the most clever things this brand did was feature an instructional video on how to mix and match their bathing suits. Boom. This is both helpful for their customers and a non-obnoxious sales tactic.
MTV
MTV was the first brand on Insta to reach 1 million fans and it is pretty obvious why.
Sharpie
It is just ridiculous how fun their feed is. It just makes you want to color!
Kate Spade
Kate Spade has been hitting it out of the park when it comes to social media for years so it is no wonder their Instagram also rules. This summer they held a contest where all you had to do was take your best summer picture of summer and tag @KateSpadeNY and they were eligible to win $250. Smart stuff.
Louboutin
Shoes plus colors equals perfection!
Burberry
The Brits really know how to do it.
Audi
Great use of people interacting with their cars.
Louis Vuitton
This classic brand is killing it on Instagram.
H&M
The retailer is great at featuring their customers.
Vans
Diversity in their demographics.
Forever 21
Another brand that listens to its customers.
Oreo
Killer.
Nike
No wonder they have 3 million followers.
Moon and Lola
You just want to jump into every picture.
The North Face
Inspiring.
Athleta
This will make you want to get out there and do some yoga.
Tiffany & Co.
Bling bling!
